My life after gastric bypass surgery. It's about all my quirks and cool (and strange) thoughts.

Lagoon!!
I went to Lagoon today for the first time in years. Last time I went I had to get off the rollercoaster because the lap bar wouldn't lock into place. Today. . . my mom and I went together. I have lost 130 pounds and she has lost 40, so we decided to see how much of a difference it made.
I FIT IN EVERY RIDE I WANTED!!! My mom and I fit together in Jet Star II!!! I am so grateful right now. New worlds are opening up to me. I saw a woman sitting on a bench reading who probably weighs as much as I did. I know her heart was breaking to watch everyone else ride and have fun. I hope she has someone to help her like I did. I hope my grandparents realize how grateful I am that they paid for my gastric bypass. What they did was buy me a future!!!
I have also started a jogging regimen to build my stamina for jogging. I don't know why, but I have it in my head that the ultimate goal would be to be able to run or jog a mile in 10 or 15 minutes. That is my goal and I don't know how long it will take. I don't care. . . I WILL do it.
