My life after gastric bypass surgery. It's about all my quirks and cool (and strange) thoughts.

Caesar
I had to take Caesar to the vet today because he has had some pretty horrible coughing fits. He's an old dog, but I don't think it is appropriate to let him suffer if something as simple as antibiotics can make him feel better.
So. . . he had a chest x-ray and his heart is slightly enlarged from a heart murmur. His heart looks as though it is pushing against his trachea, which may be causing his coughing. The vet said it could also be kennel cough, so he is treating him for kennel cough with antibiotics just in case. He also gets cherry flavored cough syrup, which he hates but he hasn't coughed since I gave it to him.
I'm not ready for my buddy to leave me yet. I am grateful for him, but I do hope he lives longer. I hate watching the changes in his aging body; however, I will appreciate him for as long as I can keep him with me. I'm pleased that God has considered me worthy to take care of his two boys.
